Climate, Environmental and Indigenous Challenges - Europe Needs to Change Over Dominance as World Needs

The wisdom of past is not historical thing, but a lesson that we need to remember for better world:
“Look, this isn’t the 15th century,” reminded Canadian Foreign Minister Peter MacKay. “You can’t go around the world and just plant flags and say, ‘We're claiming this territory.’”
It apparently escaped MacKay’s memory that it was not the 15th century, but September 2005, when the Canadian Defense Minister, together with a brave outfit of Canadian soldiers, stormed an uninhabited rock formation off the eastern coast known as Hans Island and raised the Maple Leaf. This “provocation” drew a fiery response from Denmark, which claims the island as part of Greenland.

The existing indigenous population in the circumpolar arctic region face further pressures on their ways of life.

According to UNEP/GRID-Arendal, “Except for Greenland and Northern Canada, indigenous peoples form a minority, though they can form the majority in local communities.”

“They are therefore particularly vulnerable to increased immigration by non-indigenous people as a result of industrial development, and to increased competition for resources.”
Another problem local populations face is from pollution, often carried by currents and winds from as far away as Russia, Canada and even the United States. Pollutants end up in local wildlife, from seals, fish and whales, which then eventually makes its way into people.

Thus, the Climate, Environmental and Indigenous Challenges - Europe Needs to Change Over Dominance as World Needs and it is not blaming Europe Union rather making it clear as it seems to many people that tendency of over dominance divides even body and mind as this is giving the worst problem human civilization has ever faced:

"From a nationalist perspective, we could say that America won WWI, and all of Europe lost — and lost big. The Europeans were bound to pay America huge sums for the privilege of having devastated one another. But in America as in Britain, one must draw a distinction between nationalist-minded elites, and financial elites. During the war the bankers had shown the face of a true comrade to both Britain and America — enabling the one to win the war, and facilitating the rise to power of the other. Each of the banker's "friends" got what it wished for. (One needs to be very careful of what one wishes for.)

We have seen how the banking comrade betrayed his British nationalist friends, by shifting the ground of hegemony westward while the old ground was being bitterly contested. It turns out that the American nationalist friends were also betrayed at the same time, by the same banking comrade, in a coup that will be described in the next section. Britain had won the battle for Europe, for a while; America had won the battle for strongest nation, for a longer while — but it was the banking elite who won the war — for discretionary power over the future course of world affairs."

We can read a lot for researching from past for better future without blaming ancestors as they did what was right at that time, however if we repeat mistakes, we may be doing the worse if not the worst:  European dominance in the past, history, new world, problems
