Today's Story: –
The First International Conference for Haitian Relief Efforts
Excerpt from today's story
Port - au - Prince was practically leveled to the ground as well as other sectors of Haiti when the nation went through the worst earthquake that rocked the nation in well over 200 years. The entire infrastructure collapsed. The country is in panic mode. Over 200, 000 deaths reported. People are displaced all over the island. The most basic needs of the people such as food and shelter are lacking. The people are disheartened, discouraged and wonder from one day to the next if they will be able to get food. So many caravans come and go but not all the people are lucky enough to get the food they need.
