“Well, you’re very close to the concept of self-management with the help of time management. You see if one’s enjoying the burning candle and you suddenly out of compassion blow it off, one’s going to thank you unless it is clear why you did so. You blow the candle off for saving, while the one enjoying it isn’t aware of your concept. There is chance of anger and argument and perhaps quarreling. Can you tell, please, after all your good intentions and efforts, you face rebuking?” He said.


“Well, I’d not say that it’s a right thing to do, isn’t it,” I said.




“OK, you’re right. You see here comes the point of the self-management, let’s combine the steps and the retreats. Now, just imagine that you’ve the same burning candle and someone dear to come and blows it off,” he said.


“Well, you see even if someone close does it, I’ll react to it. I may like the person doing it, but it wouldn’t seem an appropriate action, isn’t it,” I said.


“OK, no problem. Now imagine you do the same with the same person and with same manner,” he said.


“Wow, it’s so same. I wonder in my imagination; I’d enjoy doing it. I may even laugh and clap after doing it, isn’t it,” I said happily.


“All right, now assume that the same person knows the reasons why you blow the burning candle off, imagine the same point again,” he asked.
