Image via WikipediaYoga and Meditation: I have been practicing Yoga and Meditation since my childhood from a great teacher, who taught many of us at the primary school. She started to teach when I was in grade 2 and heading towards 3, and thus was trained enough to receive the third position at State Level Yoga Competitions, my yoga yoga classmate and real sister also learned it and won gold medal at state level many times. We still learn from our teacher. Let us read what she she says about her self:
"My name is Kuldeep Kaur, I am a Yoga Teacher and Counselor with 2 Years B.Ed. Degree in Yoga from Punjab University (Chandigarh), C.P.Ed, B.P.Ed (Bachelor of Physical Education) and Masters with various other credentials.
I also won Third Position at national Level of Yoga Competitions.
My aim for helping artists in Yoga and Meditation is inspired from my Master Degree in Dramatic Arts and Television. At Present I live in Mumbai. Thanks!"
She is also a social worker and have helped many slum kids to learn from which one became an MBBS Doctor and other Engineer. She never mentions how she helps others as it is her Good Karma. She has been Professor of Yoga at the National School of Drama (NSD) at New Delhi.
Her programs on Yoga and Health has been very popular from National TV Networks, the Delhi Doordashan. She has given Yoga and Meditation classes to Gurdas Mann (who is also student of my father Prof. Harnek Singh of Government College of Physical Education, Patiala), Shahnaz Hussain and many great dignities of India.
However, she is as our family ideals are as our father a great international sportsman Prof. Harnek Singh, who also has studied sports, philosophy, psychology, anatomy and physiology to teach at the Government Physical Education College of Patiala has taught for 34 years. He also learned yoga in his early years of life.
We are proud of Kuldeep Kaur as my real sister and family member.
