In not just ancient times, but around 60's and nearly up to 70's the
Religious Places were used to teach, feed and bring up children. It also included even home based
education system. Now, in the name of terrorism and corruption the religious places are targeted and
convent schools also have no future. The government schools that seem future all-in-all in the context to all-round education has made education just a trade from what used to be, a service. In religious places like Church, Ashram, Gurdudwara's and so on, almost everything was provided to the students but now we do not seem to have it. The modern value system that seem to claim religion as NOT a source of morals and ethics seem to have created what all like - excessive facility and freedom as if one goes to theater or play ground.
Most of the religions have same ethics,
value systems and morals but it is all
psychologically liked popups that seem to have diverted teen, youth and children against all
world religions and adopt the ethics and values which can rarely allow to use creative intelligence that we need to promote the research works. Yes, the original research works are philosophical not psychological.
The psychology is for counseling and we lack philosophy that all religions have in its roots. So, we need to save roots of education in Temples of Education, the Schools otherwise neither students will be able to respect teachers, and nor teachers will have anything to share with students what we know as experiences not just knowledge.
The teachers and
educators seem to be least respected ones and we may think of great teachers as well like
Lord Buddha,
Jesus Christ,
Guru Nanak and so many others.
This very teacher and taught relation or bond is bridge between knowledge and wisdom and if we lack we will the most knowledgeable people humanity has ever produced but not thinkers, philosophers and wise people, and thus the original researchers. It is my personal opinion.
