How Imperialism is Still Alive - A Dedication to Storytime and Carol Roach

Dedicated to Storytime Tapestry: Respected Carol, when I think of Storytime Tapestry I think of your greatness in the context of cultural awareness.  It is true and that is why it is almost rare that I have never faced problem while discussing what seems most conflicting problems culturally with you.

I mean I have never faced any problem with you.The people in the East have gone through the Imperialism and also the education introduced has been based on that.

In our schools and colleges and even universities, the students are taught against British Imperialism and most of the students tend or pretend to be like heroes who fought for freedom against Imperialism. This seem to breed Imperialism in new and higher version that we now know as New World Order (NWO).

On the contrary, in the modern education, we could have dropped this idea of racism.

At the same time, people in the west were taught wrongly against the easterners.

Our wise people have never followed the modern education system as it is biased.

We love, like and admire west, but it is projected that we are after money. It is not true exactly because it is because of craze that has been taught and learned for generations. Like in India more than 600 companies run their business and most of the products used are from west.

Our people feel proud to be westerner many wrongly and many rightly, and what I always wished to say that one needs to be noble or good person no matter where one lives.

Thus, it has also have caused to keep the differences alive taking away the beauty hidden in cultural diversification.

This is one of the thing about which I write a lot and thanks for including me Storytime. Amen!

Respected Carol, we have two aspects:

1. Universal Love that is compassion and caring without conditions, without expectations and anticipations and that seems to make one woman

2. Universal Discipline is passion for compassion and defending with conditions based on natural or universal laws and principles with aims and visions that one receives from woman and that seems to make one man

The normal of man and woman equality is seems exploitation of women as man also wants to win this self-created battlefield starting from bed and ending in the bed. All that aims for it is known as human rights, and imagine one ignoring nature and showing respect to women as a leader or hero is not a sign of wisdom or intelligence but cleverness that nature and women know well.

Image by Getty Images via @daylifeFor example gender is not personal choice and one can be (or is) man or woman by birth and if one has no respect for natural world then the woman whom one claims to be symbol of nature is an inhuman exploiter using great words of praise that seem to make nature feel ashamed of what one says without having meaning and feeling as all seems without feelings of reverence and shame.

One is shameful as observed by nature when one is naked in words as true cloths are feelings of shame and reverence. If one wants to hide in all cloths it is not possible. So what does it mean to have sense of equality while claiming woman and man equal.

How comes that sense of equality exists with man and woman equality. When one cannot accept others as equal to oneself the sense of equality is meaningless and just a tool of exploitation and all have choice - be exploited or reject it, the use of free will helps.

In conclusion if one does not respect nature and the laws and principles associated inside and outside of human nature, one may not claim to be human.

Why I received low marks and grades in graduation - How to be a Learner for Life

I came back from Australia after 1st year of Graduation from University of Adelaide South Australia and had to study during these protests.

In final year of B.Sc. all of our graduation class received grades or marks below 60 out of 100 (from Punjabi University of Patiala) because the examiner himself did not get more than 60 when he did his graduation and MA in Punjabi. We all ...deserved at least above 85 to 95 as it was objective type of examination. My qualification was equated equal to B.Sc. (Honors) in Philosophy, but the Registrar at Punjabi University said that I was right but ordinance does not allow to issue the degree as total credits after my completion of B.Sc. had all of it to be awarded.

The reason for requesting University of Patiala was that I had passed the syllabus of Philosophy equivalent as taught in graduation with honors as my study load was 24 points (full) with:

1. Philosophy 1A
2. Philosophy 1B
3. Logic I

and also a credit and a distinction in Physics, Human and Society I that was offered to me by interview and discussion by the Department including Registrar and Prof. Simpson in 1990 as it was not for all students majoring in Math (In other words, it was not in the ordinance and thus the syllabus book, and I had to convince that it would benefit all students, it was Physics, Man and Society and then man was changed to Human). However, they, the University authorities approved it to start from 1991, but with my efforts I did it in 1990.

That is why B.Sc. (Honors) with Philosophy was deserved academically not just demanded on self-assumption.

The other thing was requesting IGNOU for granting me permission to do studies based on my B.Sc. with education and teaching experience from a recognized school as equivalent to B.Ed., however it was never replied as it seems funny to have such diversified qualification posted as multiple combination for which ordinances prevent to award anything.

My year 12 at the Muirden Matriculation College, Adelaide South Australia with Physics, Chemistry, Math and ESL, and passing first year at the University of Adelaide was assessed more than passing B.Sc. or graduation in First Class or Division by the Canadian Universities and the assessment authorities when applied for studying in Canada in 1991-92. However, I could not go due to lack of funds.

I have teaching experience even with ESL (English as a Second Language) besides this but not even TESOL or TESL can be awarded as it says one must obey the national and international laws. So, I am doing it as my civilian duty.

Well, I have B.Sc. with Physics, Chemistry, Math and Education as an additional subject besides passing English and Punjabi as compulsory subjects from Khalsa College, the extension college of Punjabi University. No wonder the clouds that thunder do not rain.

 In any case, I also applied to New Zealand in 1991-92 with same problem as with Canada that made even studying in USA impossible as I do not have funds even though someone may claim that I may have hidden account say in Switzerland. I wonder and then take cup of tea to be what I need to be - a learner, yes a life long learner.

Rain and River Water Can be Used before it Floods - Stopping and Using River Water before it Goes into the Seas

 We can save lots of natural water

The rivers that simply flow into the sea and after emerging remain as sea water can give us water if we use it before it emerges back into the seas.

We know the river carry rain water and also come from the mountains. This water can be used in our daily needs. We may not need to work  so hard on the purification of sea water, the hard water.
This water can be put into rivers that have deeper diversion back to where want is needed. Alternatively it can be stopped even before.

Like in India and many other parts of the world, the most of the rain water brings floods in the rivers but mostly it is due to negligence. This rain water can also be stored and used for drinking and other uses after filtering or boiling.

We seem to work on raising funds for floods that flow not to the needy. We can work out for the solution that saves and stores the water.

If we use one of the so many natural ways to save and store water, we all can have enough rain and river water on earth to give us all water. However, it seems that we are paying less attention to it and the disturbance in climate change seems result of it as more wastage of natural resources is done the greater chances of disturbance in the health of nature and environment are there.

Thus, if we can manage our personal life and that of our locality, region and thus of nation and earth in general, we can easily take care of our health as well because our bodies as mammals work as the sea and earth equation of life with the help of the sun and moon.

The natural resources follow the natural laws and principles and thus is nature.  This is recyclable process which if disturbed harms our earth, environment and universe in general. We may not assume any greater crime than this.

The nature is most loyal, faithful and humble servant and still we make it work as we wish not as allowing it its natural course of life and its maintenance in the life in the universe. Just calming to be spiritual or universal or even divine does not make any sense if we do not practice it.

Our human bodies are also similar to nature when understand the words biorhythm and recyclable process that make us happy, healthy and thus naturally wealth. We thus count the blessings not pennies or cents. (Please convert into currency without checking the international rates).

Life is uncountable and if start counting its significance and importance goes foggy as we simply follow the days, months and years in a cyclic ways of biorhythm keeping the I ever young and thus evergreen and making a difference we need.

Please think about how we can save and store water from rain and rivers before it goes into the seas to be the sea water. Let us allow sun and moon to bring rain, tides and waves on the sea on our earth making us naturally flourishing.
